Gunslinger was however kicking ass. As a team player, I was trying to draw as much attention to myself as possible for the bigger mechs to follow up. So refreshing that Gunslinger, although not on a teamspeak with me at the time, understood that clearly and took advantage of it without having to say a word.

I didn't realize how big that Puma chasis is until that game actually, when I ran up on a BK. That thing is huge. "Look at that mech man... it's huge." quote by Tiny Elvis

I'm out of commission for the weekend and I come to see this thread blow up.

I didn't bother to read all the posts, but did catch the comment about thor and his domination. thor you couldn't dominate your way out of a paper bag. LOL

Mainly just wanted to say thanks to Gunslinger for stepping up and posting what he saw in the game as well. It's not an issue really, but it would help if we didn't have to mind read what is appropriate and not. Having fun in mercs these days with the update and I have no animosity towards the FU boys, with the exception that they owe me royalty fees on my Puma config -- that kind of fun doesn't just grow on trees.

~S~ that way he can believe that youre saying good things about him.... Glendor that was an excellent post, concise, and expose of sorts. We were also treated with an excellent example of pretzel logic by our friend. I have never seen a foot planted so deeply in a mouth, amazing. Those 2 posts broke this whole issue down to clearly defined lines. Im considering posting them on mektek with a poll. I would consult with my fellow knights before doing so.. the other party will be changed enough so that he wont be named.

I was also in the game with Bantha when he got banned. It was a shitty move on the Admins part. Ya Ya... The Admin COULD make up the rules on the Fly.... But that is just an example of how big of a sore loser you really are... Sure there is power in being admin or owner... but there is also responsibility. I have never had a problem on their server, or anything other mercs server for that matter. But now, for some reason, there are a few servers now having issues.... This just being one of them. I am not sure what the deal is. Maybe TK is starting to be noticed in mercs or something??? LOL j/k But seriously, I don't know what the deal is but it would really be nice to know..... Just for the record.

Ok lets see here the topic is of admin changing rules in the middle of the game, right? Yes. let me show a little analogie relating to this. theres a country in this world that changes anything they want into whatever they want, so in this analogie Country=server. In 1962 we had a major missle crisis with them, can you name the country? well there are plenty of other countrys/servers out there but someone made the mistake of going into this server/country thinking they would just check it out, but in this country they can make you stay in the country, pay them money, kill you, anything they feel like while your on your stay there. So your stay in the country=your stay in the server. so the country can do anything they want, because they own it while your in there, just like being in a server. but notice that there are not many happy people in this country right now, you probably won't find a smile at all in this country. So if there is someone who wants to make there server pure anarchy you know what, NO ONE WILL STAY THERE. If you change the rules in the middle of game then everyone will just find a new rule to break that you haven't made up yet so why be in that server to be called out on something that hasn't been a rule yet? Bantha, if there was nothing more to what you were doing than just having a small mech (that was not on ban list, along with the weapons) than you were right to call this out on him so everyone can see first hand that this is not the best place to be, it may take a long time b4 everyone relizes that the admin is not fair without the spread of this news because they think "hey its not happening to me why get hurt if I dn't have to." It reminds me of a story, what was it? O yes "the hang man" where everyone has the additude of "why get hurt if I dn't have to" until it does happen to everyone and there all dead. But in the case of this game the pilots are not dead just banned or kicked.
So to sum this up you have the right to change the rules in the middle of the game, But why? Everyone thinks your just stupid for finding a new way to win instead of skills and personally I laugh at these people :lol:

What you said in your quote above is very similar to how I felt about a certain nameless admin. I never denied that the admin had the ability to lord over the other players, nor did I expect to change you-know-who's rather twisted idea that it the ability equals the right. The reason I did the things I did, and posted the messages I did, was to attract attention to the problem. I wanted everybody to see that when he boasted about his higher than thou honor and morality, that it was all a lie. It's good to see somebody outside TK validate my methods; I hated to think that we were the only ones who thought that way.
